Chase Utley has been traded to the Dodgers and I can't believe what I just typed.
I didn't think we'd ever get to this point. Not now, not last year, but certainly not yesterday when Phillies GM Ruben Amaro, my new least favorite person ever, told us that Chase Utley was likely staying with the Phillies until the end of the season. 24 hours later, we know that's not true at all.
The Phillies have agreed to trade Chase Utley and $2M to the Dodgers. In return, the Dodgers will send them two minor leaguers.
