WASHINGTON -- Odubel Herrera became the sixth player in Phillies history to homer in five consecutive games when he hit a home run in the third inning of Philadelphia's game against the Nationals at Nationals Park on Friday evening.
The other five Phillies to homer in five straight games are Rhys Hoskins (2017), Chase Utley (twice, in '08), Bobby Abreu ('05), Mike Schmidt ('79) and Dick Allen ('69).
Herrera sent a Tanner Roark changeup into the right-field stands to give Philadelphia a 4-2 lead.
