Hector Neris got back to pitching inside with his fastball, so he's headed back to the Phillies.
The 26-year-old right-hander didn't allow a run in his last 12 1/3 innings out of the bullpen for the IronPigs before getting promoted to take the place of injured Jerome Williams (hamstring).
"I sent a message to Ryno [Sandberg] about how he's really come on here the last seven outings," IronPigs manager Dave Brundage said. "Different guy. That's what got him to the big leagues last year."
Neris is 1-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 22 games this season with Lehigh Valley.
