Gritty Arrieta not enough to end Phillies' skid

DENVER -- The Phillies tied their second-worst road trip in franchise history with Thursday afternoon's 5-3 loss to the Rockies at Coors Field.

Phillies right-hander Jake Arrieta allowed three runs in six innings as the Phillies went 0-8 through Atlanta and Colorado, tying a 0-8 road trip through Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Baltimore in June 2015. The Phillies went 0-9 in a franchise-worst road trip through New York, Boston and Providence in August 1883.
