The Phillies looked more like the Phillies we’ve come to expect this season rather than the team they’ve been for the better part of a month, as they finally ended their six-game losing streak with an encouraging 6-0 win in Seattle. Zack Wheeler tossed 8 dominant innings and the offense launched four total home runs including one from Bryce Harper who had his first multi-hit game since July 13th.

Wheeler went to the mound for a pitcher’s duel against Seattle’s Logan Gilbert with the Phillies desperately needing a win. Not only did they need a win, but they also needed length from Wheeler after last night’s bullpen meltdown.
