After winning the first two games of their season opening series against the Washington Nationals, the Phillies will go for the sweep on Sunday behind Aaron Nola. Nola dominated the Nats in 2024, going 3-0 with a 1.85 ERA in four starts.
The Phillies’ offense has scored 18 runs in the first two games - most of that coming against the Nationals’ weak bullpen. The Nationals will need lefty starter Mitchell Parker to give them some innings to help prevent that from happening again. Parker faced the Phillies once in 2024, and it was disastrous for him, giving up nine runs in three innings.
