PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco suffered a scary fall into the camera well along the third-base line in the eighth inning of Tuesday's nightcap against the Nationals at Citizens Bank Park.
He eventually emerged and walked to the Phillies' dugout on his own.
But not before he flipped completely over the railing and fell hard into the well. Third-base umpire Hunter Wendelstedt and Phillies players immediately waved for help from the Phillies' dugout. Pedro Florimon entered the game at shortstop. Asdrubal Cabrera moved from shortstop to third.
