Franco Extends Spring HR Lead, Phils Tie 4-4

hit his MLB Spring Training-leading eighth home run as the Phillies tied the Toronto Blue Jays for the second time this March 4-4.

Efficient Offense Powers Late Comeback

Franco put the Phillies on the board first with a third inning shot off of Marco Estrada but the 1-0 lead would last only a half inning. Casey Kotchman put the Blue Jays out in front 2-1 in the top of the fourth with a two-run homer off of Jeremy Hellickson. Hellickson, recently named the Phils Opening Day starter, struck out four but walked three and gave up four hits, while allowing two earned.
