PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies remained in first place in the National League East on Thursday night with a dramatic, 5-2 walk-off victory against the Marlins at Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies' offense had scuffled through eight innings before it loaded the bases with one out in the ninth against Kyle Barraclough. Nick Williams' infield single between the mound and third base scored Rhys Hoskins to tie the score. Maikel Franco capped the comeback with a towering three-run home run to left field.
Franco flipped his bat in the air as the ball left the park.
