Chuck Sonon has a long association with football in the Lehigh Valley.
He was the head coach twice at Bethlehem Catholic, and held the same post at Emmaus, and has been an assistant at various places including Lehigh University and his current home, Southern Lehigh.
But Sonon, who grew up in Reading, loves baseball.
On July 25, Sonon and his wife Carol got to have one of the great thrills any baseball fan can ever experience.
They witnessed a no-hitter.
But not just any no-hitter. The two Phillies fans were at Wrigley Field sitting near the Cubs dugout on the third-base side to see Cole Hamels deliver one last special moment for the Philadelphia fans.
