Minnesota Twins 54-44 (.551) Second place American League Central (5.0 GB)
Philadelphia Phillies 63-36 (.636) First place National League East (+8.5)
If you’ve been online or listened to any Phillies podcasts, you’ve likely heard at least one person posit the Phillies could go .500 for the rest of the season and still cruise into the postseason. When you consider the injuries they’ve played through over these past 40 games .500 ball seems respectable.
