Welp, it’s finally happening.
When the season started, a lot of people were worrying about playing time with the roster, since it featured four outfielders with three spots and a young second baseman that had no where to go. The amount of innings would be spread out evenly, manager Gabe Kapler said, with player realizing as the season went on that, wow, they were in fact getting a lot time on the field.
Now, all of those issues are resolving themselves. First, it was the J.P. Crawford injury that temporarily relieved the infield logjam, even if it did put Scott Kingery out of position.
