A few key Phillies players are scheduled to hit free agency next offseason.
Kyle Schwarber is entering the final year of his four-year, $79 million contract he signed with the Phillies prior to the 2022 season. All he has done has been one of the best power hitters in baseball. Schwarber is third behind Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge in home runs since signing with the Phillies.
He is likely due a raise from his $19.75 million annual salary. The question is whether or not Schwarber can get a contract of similar length compared to his previous one.
