Every catcher has his day: Phillies 11, Royals 3

Another day, another standout performance for a Phillies catcher. This time, Garrett Stubbs notched his first career four hit game as the Phillies offense exploded for 11 runs for the second straight day in a series victory over the Royals in Kansas City. Meanwhile, Kolby Allard delivered five solid innings in his return to the rotation.

Stubbs leads the way

Stubbs collected his first hit with a leadoff triple in the third. He was brought home one pitch later on a Kyle Schwarber double.

Alec Bohm then collected his first of three RBIs on the day with a two out single that brought Schwarber home.
