Franco Hits First Double of Spring
With eight home runs, Maikel Franco has been crushing baseballs in the Florida sun. Today, he did something he has yet to do all Spring: hit a fan-interfered double on what looked like his ninth homer. In a weird small sample quirk, Franco hit his first double off of veteran Steven Wright to plate Odubel Herrera in the first to give the Phillies the lead 1-0.
