PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies right-hander Zach Eflin continued to establish himself as a key piece in the Phillies' rotation Tuesday night in a 3-2 victory over the Orioles at Citizens Bank Park.
Eflin allowed two runs in seven innings to improve to 7-2 with a 2.97 ERA. He is the first Phillies pitcher to win six consecutive starts since Cliff Lee in 2011. Eflin has a 1.91 ERA in that six-start stretch.
Rhys Hoskins' two-out double in the third inning scored two runs to give the Phillies a 2-1 lead.
