Fresh off a Super Bowl LIX victory in February, Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio took in batting practice on Wednesday from the field at Citizens Bank Park. The veteran football coach is a lifelong Phillies fan, and he was confident in his favorite baseball team’s chances to compete in 2025 ahead of their game against the Rockies.
“I think they’ll be right there in the hunt,” Fangio told Phillies Nation. “Probably win between 92 and 95 games, and I don’t know if that would be enough to win the division. But hopefully when they get in the playoffs, they’ll get hot and make some noise.
