PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Now that Drake has brought up the 1993 Phillies, are we all at war?
This time last week, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill set off a hip hop feud with a tweet questioning Toronto rapper Drake’s writing. Today it reaches a new level as Drake evokes one of Philadelphia’s most painful moments.
“Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!” read the tweet from Meek Mill last week.
And so it began, a new war of words between two at the top in their game.
