When someone is doing things the way Tommy Bergjans has for the last four years, good things are bound to happen.
For the Haverford College righthander, the best possible scenario played itself out Tuesday in Day 2 of the Major League Baseball first-year player draft when the Los Angeles Dodgers selected the Manhattan Beach, Calif., native with their eighth-round pick (252d overall).
"This has always been my dream," said Bergjans, who graduated with a degree in economics. "It's an incredible feeling."
