We have reached the truly dead period in the baseball year. The GM meetings are finished, the winter meetings haven't started, and the Rule 5 Draft (which is barely even newsworthy for most teams) is a couple of weeks away. So, it seemed like the perfect time for an exercise in the truly pointless.
In this quick post, I wanted to answer the question: how does a 100-loss season compare to a 100-win season? Fortunately for Phillies fans, it is fairly easy to find an answer we can relate to considering the Phillies lost 99 games last year just four years after winning 102 games.
