MIAMI - Cody Asche launched two home runs-including an upper-deck shot - and Aaron Harang delivered what was only his second quality start since May as the Phillies snapped a six-game losing skid with a 6-2 win over the Miami Marlins last night.
Asche, who lost his third base job a month into the season and was losing his grip on a starting job, period, entering the season's final month, enjoyed the first multi-home run game of his career in the victory. He has homered four times in his last eight games.
Asche ripped a solo shot off Miami starter Tom Koehler in the fourth, reaching the second deck of the rightfield seats at Marlins Park.
