Spencer Schwellenbach is a menace.
I’m quite sure he’s a great person, one of high intelligence and peak athletic ability, but when he faces the Phillies, he suddenly turns into Bob Gibson, Sandy Koufax and Greg Maddux rolled into one. The Phillies have not hit him and quite frankly have looked silly trying to do so. Heading into the sixth inning, it was doubtful they would scratch out even a run against him, let alone get themselves back into the game.
Then up came our himbo.
It started as something of a pitcher’s duel with Aaron Nola and Schwellenbach trading zeroes to begin the game, though the Phillies were putting some baserunners on.
