COVID-19 forced MLB to push back Opening Day, which was scheduled to take place on March 26. However, baseball is pulling out all the stops in an attempt to entertain fans on Thursday anyway.
As Andrew Simon of MLB.com noted, baseball plans to blanket old and new media with classic games Thursday to make up for Opening Day having to be pushed back.
Among the games that will be replayed is the Phillies 7-5 win over the Chicago Cubs on Aug.
