For the fourth time in his career, Bryce Harper is a Silver Slugger Award winner. It’s the first time Harper has won the award as a first baseman.
Harper was one of three finalists for the National League’s Silver Slugger at first base, joined by Pete Alonso and Freddie Freeman. As a first baseman, Harper led the NL in several categories, including hits (154), doubles (41), slugging percentage (.529) and wRC+ (146).
In total, Harper hit 42 doubles and slugged .525 with a 145 wRC+ in 2024. It’s the third time in his Phillies career the two-time MVP has been named a Silver Slugger.
