Bats quiet, Phillies swept in Atlanta

Final: Braves 5, Phillies 2

The Atlanta Braves have swept the Phillies, and it didn’t look particularly close the entire series. The good news? Philadelphia still occupies a playoff spot. The bad news? They need to figure it out soon. The Phillies offense has been quiet and the bullpen, reliable for most of the season, is starting to crater.

The game was a pitcher’s duel for the most part. Atlanta starter Spencer Strider had a no-hitter going for 5 2/3 innings until an Alec Bohm solo home run broke it up. Phillies starter Bailey Falter threw the ball exceptionally as well, allowing only one run on a Robbie Grossman double in the third inning over 4 2/3 innings pitched.
