PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies right-hander Jake Arrieta flipped the script in June.
After he posted a 0.90 ERA in five starts in May, he posted a 6.66 ERA in five starts in June. It included a rough Tuesday night in a 6-0 loss to the Yankees at Citizens Bank Park. Arrieta allowed nine hits, six runs (three earned), one walk and two home runs, striking out five in five innings.
Arrieta allowed a leadoff homer to Aaron Hicks on the third pitch of the game.
