Amaro: ‘Last Chance’ For Domonic Brown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — In 2010, he was ranked the 14th best prospect in the minor leagues. In 2011, he began the season as the number four prospect in baseball.

Now, Domonic Brown’s tenure with the Philadelphia Phillies is hanging by a thread.

“It’s about whether or not he can take the bull by the horns and show us he can be a productive major league player. If he can’t, this may very well be his last chance,” Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Tuesday. “I think he understands that, I think he knows that and hopefully we can see some semblance of what we’ve seen in the past of him.
