ST. LOUIS -- Phillies catcher Jorge Alfaro was a late scratch with right knee soreness from Saturday's lineup against the Cardinals.
Alfaro left Friday's 12-4 loss to the Cardinals in the fifth inning. He suffered the injury after his foot slipped out from under him while he was running down a wild pitch.
"He's going to be just fine, but that was precautionary as well," Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said after the game. "It was really kind of messy conditions out there. I just wanted to get him out of there to be cautious.
