Aaron Nola promoted to Phillies, will start Tuesday

Just a month after arriving in Allentown, Aaron Nola is moving on to Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies announced that the 22-year-old right hander, the seventh overall pick in last year's draft, will make his major league debut Tuesday against Tampa Bay in Philadelphia.

He will become the first player drafted by Philadelphia to make his major league debut the very next season since Pat Combs, who was drafted in June of 1988 and made his debut September of 1989.

Nola was promoted to the IronPigs in mid-May after posting a 1.88 ERA and a 7-3 record in 12 start at Double-A Reading.
