When teams are going good, having success over a sustained period of time like the Phillies are currently enjoying, it never hurts to wonder if the good times will last. As one of the bigger market teams in the game, there are financial ways that the team will be able to remain in the top tier, but there will also be losses and moves made by the front office that alter the makeup of the team as currently constructed. The feeling that some have with the roster is that if they fall short of the World Series in 2024, there will have to be some changes made that help create that final push necessary to clear the hurdle they keep tripping over.
