The Phillies, as you well know by now, have officially clinched a bye through the first round of the MLB postseason. It will be the first time doing so for the team under the new postseason format that introduced the bye and the third wild card spot in 2022. In fact, the only players to experience the bye on the current roster are Trea Turner and Austin Hays. Turner was a member of the Dodgers who experienced the bye in its first year of existence in 2022 and Hays was a member of the 2023 Orioles.
