A Haseley shade of winning: Phillies 5, Marlins 4

Well, it may not have been pretty, but a win is a win I guess.

In a day where the team’s pitching coach and manager came under some fire for handling the pitching staff, the Phillies ended their losing streak, using a bases loaded error from the Marlins to secure their first win against Miami since the Bush administration. It may not have been pretty, and it did take forever, but a win is a win is a win.

It started off shakily enough. The team went with Vince Velasquez to make his season ending appearance and shockingly enough, he struggled.
