First off, with that name I feel like he should have some serious Jazz chops. He is multi-talented though (even if those chops don't include triple paradiddles or sweep arpeggios), as he was a multi-sport star in High School (interestingly that included hockey). His full name is Michael "Buddy" Reed, he stands 6'3" (though I've seen 6'4" in places) and weighs in at 185 lbs. He's a switch hitting Center Fielder who can absolutely fly. In fact, the description of Reed is likely to give Phillies fans who followed the Drafts in the 2000's panic attacks. He has 4 potential plus tools, and it's not crazy to think his 5th tool could develop to average or better, but his hitting is still a bit of a work in progress, in part because he spent so long playing different sports.
