2016 MLB Draft Fourth Round: Phillies Select JoJo Romero 107th Overall

It's JoJo from JuCo!

The Phillies are going with a junior college left-hander with their fourth round pick, and they're going to a pretty well-known junior college at that. JoJo Romero, a 6'0" southpaw, could be a back end of the rotation guy, but many see him as a bullpen piece due to questions about durability.

Romero attended Yavapai College this past year after spending a year at Nevada with the Wolfpack. He graduated from Oxnard High School in California.

Romero was listed at #158 on the BA 500, and #124 on MLB.com's top 200 draft prospects.
