Two Phillies legends are set to receive a special honor next month.
Chase Utley and Ryan Howard will be inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place on Nov. 7 at the Event Center at Live! Casino and Hotel in South Philly.
Other members of the Class of 2024, which was announced back in April, include St. Joseph’s University basketball legend Jameer Nelson, Flyers great Rod Brind’Amour and the late Eddie Stanky, a Northeast Philly native who played 11 seasons in the big leagues and managed the Cardinals, White Sox and Rangers.
