1,500 games at Citizens Bank Park

Citizens Bank Park was one of the stars of the 2022 postseason, with the long-awaited return of “Red October” and raucous, jubilant fans. Six months later we are now starting the 20th season at the Bank, and tonight it will reach one other round-number milestone, hosting the Phillies’ 1,500th regular season home game there*.

* That number includes the series that was moved from Toronto to CBP in late June 2010, to avoid protests around that year’s G20 Summit. Those three games were played under AL rules (Ryan Howard and Raul Ibanez DH’ed), with the Blue Jays batting last, but are counted as Phillies home games — they had 84 that year.
