The game has been postponed until Tuesday at 4:05pm EST, giving the Philadelphia Phillies an extra day of rest after making stops in Arlington and Chicago to start the season.
Fans got about 24 hours of notice in order to alter their plans for the home opener's new start date, which is a lot more than has been given in parks such as the Oakland Coliseum over the past week.
Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Kyle Kendrick will take the ball for the Phils in the opener against another Kyle, rightie Kyle Lohse of the Brewers.
