With the NHL’s trade deadline coming on March 8, the Philadelphia Flyers are in a bit of a pickle. Jamie Drysdale’s injury will be re-evaluated in a couple of weeks, Rasmus Ristolainen is week-to-week, Travis Konecny is still missing from the lineup, and there are only 22 games left in the season. The Flyers’ top forwards has been, well, not good in recent games. For a team that’s likely to sell defensemen and depth forwards? That’s just not a good scenario to be in.
The Flyers are clinging onto their playoff hopes as the results continue to be mixed.
