After placing third in the Gatorade NHL Puck Control contest at the NHL Skills Competition on Friday night, Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux will now set his sights on the All-Star game itself and try to earn the Metro division a victory.
Giroux was easily the best candidate to represent the Flyers. He’s consistently led the team in scoring throughout the entire year, netting 52 points (14 Goals, 38 Assists) in 48 games this season. This will mark the sixth time Captain Claude has made an All-Star squad and I’ve got a hunch that this will be his best of his career.
