Wells Fargo Center to begin renovations with upgrades to luxury suite level

The suite level at the Wells Fargo Center is getting an upgrade.

Comcast-Spectacor, which owns the Flyers and the 20-year-old building they call home, announced this morning that the suites at the WFC will be upgraded before the upcoming Flyers and Sixers seasons.

The new suites will have new carpeting in the seating area, the addition of porcelain tile in the lounge area, new high-back leather seats in the seating bowl, new furniture, fancy lighting and all new finishes.

Comcast-Spectacor says that this will be “Phase 1” of renovations to the building. As we told you late in 2014, the WFC will be undergoing a series of renovations to bring it up to standards around the NHL and NBA.
