After the names Patrick and Hischier bounced around NHL circles for weeks, the Flyers finally made their choice: It was Nolan Patrick.
In the eyes of most experts, 18-year-old prospects Patrick and Nico Hischier sat far above the rest of this year’s draft class. With the No. 2 overall pick in the draft Friday night, the Flyers selected Patrick.
