It was fun while it lasted, but now we should be going.

Following a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Washington Capitals, the Flyers now sit five points behind Montreal and Columbus (Blue Jackets currently occupying second wild card spot), seven points behind Carolina for the first wildcard seed, and eleven points behind Pittsburgh for third in the Metro, with only 12 games left to play.

I hope everybody had a real, real good time.

Because Carter Hart sure didn’t. In the 20-year-old’s first action since February 21, Hart was a little rusty, allowing four goals on 31 shots, and giving up a little more positionally than we were accustomed to seeing prior to the rookie sensation’s injury.
