Valentina Shevchenko defeated Jessica Andrade by TKO to retain her UFC women's flyweight title Saturday night at UFC 261 in Jacksonville, Florida.
The stoppage came at 3 minutes, 19 seconds of Round 2.
Shevchenko took Andrade and trapped her in a crucifix position, from where she pummeled Andrade with a series of hard elbows and punches until referee Dan Miragliotta stopped it.
Shevchenko successfully defended her flyweight belt for the fifth time.
Shevchenko (21-3) is ESPN's No. 2-ranked pound-for-pound women's fighter, while Andrade (21-9) is No. 6.
Andrade, a former UFC strawweight champion, rebounded from two straight losses with a first-round knockout victory over Katlyn Chookagian in October her last time out.
