Two Flyers prospects strike gold at World Junior Championships

The Philadelphia Flyers are tearing up the Ice down at the Skate Zone in Vorhees, but over the border in Edmonton, two young prospects have earned a significant accolade.

Draft picks Cam York and Bobby Brink were competing for Team USA in the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships and after making the final, squared off against Canada. The Americans sprung a surprise 2-0 upset, clinching Gold, and sending the Flyers prospects home with a place in the History books.

Brink, the team’s second-round pick in 2019, had a stunning defensive game and played a large part in the shutout, throwing himself in front of shots time and time again.
