Flyers fifth-round draft selection Elliot Desnoyers is having himself an outstanding start to his draft-plus-one season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
After a pair of two-point nights for the Halifax Mooseheads, Desnoyers exploded for not one, not two, not three, but four goals against the Cape Breton Eagles on Saturday, giving him six markers and as many assists on the season thus far.
For what it’s worth, he scored just 11 goals in the entire 2019-20 season.
This isn’t the first time Desnoyers has stood out this season.
