The Flyers select Zayde Wisdom 94th overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft

The Philadelphia Flyers have drafted Zayde Wisdom with the 94th overall selection in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The Orange and Black jumped up to take Wisdom, as general manager Chuck Fletcher traded the 116th overall pick (fourth round) and the 147th overall pick (fifth round) in this year’s draft to move up into the mid-nineties.

Wisdom is a center from Toronto, Ontario that stands 5’10” and weighs 201 pounds. He produced 29 goals and 30 assists 59 points for the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League last season, which was good enough to finish second on the team in each category as he trailed only generational talent Shane Wright (the anticipated first overall pick in 2022) in goals and tallies.
