The Philadelphia Flyers have drafted left winger Elliot Desnoyers 135th overall in the fifth round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. General Manager Chuck Fletcher moved the 202nd and 209th overall picks in this year’s draft to the Nashville Predators to jump up to 135th overall for the forward.
Desnoyers is a left-handed shot that stands 5’11” and weighs 172 pounds. He followed up a 31-point season in 61 appearances for the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL in 2018-19 with a 35-point campaign in 2019-20 for the same club as his goal totals dropped from 12 to 11.
