Early Sunday evening, it was announced that the Flyers had recalled Joel Farabee and Mikhail Vorobyev from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. They also announced that they were sending Carson Twarynski down to the Phantoms.
The Farabee call-up doesn’t come as much of a shock. He’s posted 3 goals and 1 assist in 4 games with the Phantoms. His time was coming, and it appears that it’s here.
The Vorobyev call-up is an interesting one. The Flyers needed to replace Bunnaman, and did so by bringing up Misha. Vorobyev doesn’t exactly have a stellar track record at the NHL level.
