The Philadelphia Flyers were back in action on Thursday night against the Buffalo Sabres. It was all Flyers in this one, scoring three goals in five minutes. Mikhail Vorobyev opened things up, James van Riemsdyk added a gritty goal of his own, and Matt Niskanen would later get one of his own on the power play off a beautiful pass from Kevin Hayes.
The punches didn’t stop as Ivan Provorov scored quickly on the power play, seconds into going on the man advantage. Not even a minute later, Tyler Pitlick finished off a rebound to make it 5-0.
