Summer is just around the corner, which means the draft, free agency, and to a lesser extent, the IIHF World Championships are almost upon us. The worldwide tournament will be hosted in Kosice and Bratislava, Slovakia this year from May 10th to the 26th.
Hockey Canada announced that Sean Couturier and Carter Hart will be the two Philadelphia Flyers players representing Team Canada. This’ll be Hart’s first appearance with the non-junior squad while Couturier, who helped the team win gold in 2015, will return for another run. Head Coach Alain Vigneault will get his first real look at two Philadelphia representatives and find a feel for how they play the game.
